Trips to the Post Office are like Pulling Teeth...

Just when I started to believe the worst thing to go to in the world is the Dentist, yesterdays trip to the Post Office totally blew any oral surgery out of the water. Not only was the line INCREDIBLY LONG and moving EXTRAORDINARILY SLOW, the people that worked there only encouraged it! What was just a simple visit to pick up a missed parcel turned into a 45 minute affair. 45 MINUTES to pick up a package!!!!

I had one idiot in front of me walk up to ship a gift totally unpacked. HOW DUMB ARE YOU. Do you think there going to pack it for you??? Well they almost did. Another dummy decided she was going to make her own postage for a massive box at a level of a shoe box. After arguing that the box wasn't over 5 pounds for about 5 minutes she finally settled on asking the lady to go find her 3 smaller boxes. So while there was a line as long as the animals for Noah's ark, this IDIOT post office employee decides she is going to be straight Indiana Jones and find 3 lost shoe boxes. Congratulations, ten minutes later you succeeded in your task...

By the time I finally got to the front of the line, the little miss post office worker was the rudest person I have ever seen. This is funny since the person in front of me had what felt like a 10 minute conversation with the lady. The conversation ENDED with her OPENING her mail and asking WHAT THE HELL IT WAS. DO YOU THINK THE CLERK KNEW WHAT WAS INSIDE OF LETTER YOU JUST RECEIVED????

God some people really do not need to procreate...

And next time post office workers of America, leave the parcel at my door...

They May Take Our Lives...

So yesterday in our softball game for James' league we beat a team by the mercy rule before the 4th inning. Not only was it a total blow out, they were picking up guys to play with them from the street...

And it wasn't that we just TOTALLY dominated them, it was the way we beat them. I felt like i was playing an inner city Syracuse school again...

They were making errors, dropping fly balls, throwing to the wrong base, and grounding out like crazy...

Play with some pride, I mean it is softball. I don't know how the Indians are sleeping tonight after their performance...Their own mothers may not even want to see the sight of them after that whooping...

William Wallace is rolling around in his grave right now..

Top 5 Reasons to Hate Day Light Savings Time...

So now I hate George Vernon Hudson more than I do Derek Jeter or Tony Romo...this makes no sense and I had to be up this morning before any rooster on the east coast...

5. While I agree with Ben Franklin that early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise, don't wake me up.

4. While I like the idea of having some sun when I get off work, the half hour isn't worth it.

3. I do not save any money on lights.

2. My dog will wake up at 5 or 6 regardless, which means its like 4 or 5 real time.

1. Messes up sleep habits, and China, Africa, Arizona and Hawaii do not use it...

Top 5 Reasons to Own a Dog...

5. Dog's are the best listeners. Even if they have no clue what you are saying, I swear they can read your tone. They will sit with you when you watch tv, wag their tails when you talk to them and will follow you everywhere. It is like having a little brother who does everything you want to do...

4. They teach responsibility. I mean how can you not, a living animal that lets you know when to wake up, when to take him out, when to feed him. He also teaches you how to clean up pee, poop and throw up on the carpet. You will learn to wash him, and clean up after him. He or she makes you clean. Yes, not only do they shed everywhere, but they also slobber and stink up the house. But hey, if they didn't, would you really sweep the floor???

3. Whether you left for 1 minute, a week, or have been out drinking all night and come home the next day, your dog is ALWAYS happy to see you....

2. They make you get exercise. I mean, you have to take them out, and if you don't get them tired they destroy things. Dog's also love going to new places, like the beach and parks. They love to play baseball and chase after the ball. They love to swim, and you know, enjoy things besides Madden 2010...

1. Puppy Pimpin. Dog's let you meet other dog owners and what better conversation starter is what is her/or his name? How old? O really? Wow she is beautiful or man is he handsome....and if it is a puppy...go with the black lab puppy....trust me.

Welcome to Jacksonville!!!

2 Pro Bowlers in one day!!!!! Welcome to Jax Aaron Kampman and Kassim Osgood. While the only Osgood I know plays Hockey for the Red Wings, supposedly this freak of an athlete can also play Wide out...

And by the way, Kampman before The Packers switched to a 3-4 defense was second in the league in sacks. His 15.5 take downs were more than the whole Jag's line last year...

Playoffs!
